Profile description: Hybrid. (Colombian Gold x Highland Thai x Mexican x Afghani #1) x NL Special. Very stable and uniform plants. Compact, resinous buds. Incense aroma and spicy, sweet flavor. Spliff Seeds used an AK as a mother and crossed her with their frostiest Northern Lights Special father to improve trichome production. The result is their own AK, a potent hybrid that combines a sativa character with the practicality of an indica. It is a very quick finisher and performs well in hydro, coco and soil. AK is excellent for the SOG method as it is also very mould resistant, AK is one of the most stable varieties in the Spliff’s catalogue, producing uniform plants. It is very easy to grow as it can stand both higher and lower temperatures and doesn’t require a lot of nutrients. It does need some space in between individual plants to reach its full potential. Prune the lower buds to create one major bud or supercrop if you have space. AK is ferociously quick flowering variety. Its rock hard buds are covered in red hairs and lots of trichomes. The aroma is a pungent, spicy smell. The taste is spicy and sweet. AK is amongst the most medicinally potent strains known to man. Medicinal value: PMS, pain relief, MS, insomnia, and depression.
