Profile description: Hybrid. Brazilian sativa x South Indian indica. Very stable, very homogenous and covered in trichomes. Sour, earthy aroma and taste. White Widow was developed to combine the ease of growth and typical indica aroma of South Indian Landrace indicas with the uplifting, energetic character of a Brazilian sativa. The result is an easy to grow, reliable and potent strain that flowers quickly. Spliff Seeds’ regular White Widow has remained unchanged for decades, but is still one of the most powerful and popular strains in the Amsterdam coffeeshops since it was first developed in the 1990s. This hybrid strain shows sativa characteristics when it comes to bud shape and resin production, but the compact structure, short flowering period and leaf shape are more like an indica variety. White Widow will show the first signs of flowering after around three or four weeks and has a mid to dark green color. It does extremely well in hydroponic setups and has an excellent flower to leaf ratio. White Widow has a sour, earthy aroma with hints of fruit. Its medicinal uses include alleviating neuropathic pains, muscle spasms and muscular cramps.
